Damage deposit collection capabilities

It would be valuable to add the ability for hosts to collect and manage damage deposits directly through Touch Stay.

Currently, many property managers need to request a refundable damage deposit from guests before their stay. This process is often handled manually or through external tools, which creates additional admin work and a fragmented guest experience. Adding a built-in damage deposit feature could allow hosts to:
Request a refundable security deposit from guests prior to check-in

  1. Collect payments securely through the platform
  2. Hold and release deposits after the stay if no damage is reported
  3. Optionally deduct charges if damages occur
  4. Send automated notifications or reminders to guests about the deposit
